A Neuromodulator is a protein that relaxes wrinkle causing muscles, creating a smooth appearance. It works by blocking the message from the nerve to the muscle to create a relaxed look.

Neuromodulators are administered through a few tiny injections into a muscle. The maximum effect usually happens 10 to 14 days after treatment and it can last up to 4 months.
